Position Description: We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our research team in the metabolic engineering of yeast for the production of value-added bioproducts. Excellent recent BSc graduates or those graduating in 2026 will also be considered for the MSc program. Candidate Requirements:

• A MSc degree in a relevant field for the PhD position.
• Hands-on experience in metabolic engineering in yeast (preferred) or other microorganisms
• Solid knowledge and experience in molecular biology and metabolic engineering
• Knowledge and experience in fermentation engineering is an asset, though not required
